Adding Quiz and Survey in Camtasia Studio 4

Objective:
This job aid will show you how to create a quiz or a survey in a Camtasia Studio project to help your learners to practice or retain knowledge.
 
 
Step one: Move the cursor to the position
 
Move the cursor to the position on the timeline that you want the quiz to appear.
 
 
Step two: Click on Flash Quiz
 
Under “Task List” and “Edit” commands on the left side of the screen, click on “Flash Quiz and Survey”.
 
 
 
Step three: Click on “Add Quiz.”
 
 
 
Step four: Select the name of your quiz
 

“Quiz Appearance and Feedback” window will appear. Rename the quiz in “Quiz Name”. Select “Continue” or “Jump to time”. Then click “OK”.
 
 
 
Step five: Select the question type
 

Select the question type to be multiple choice, fill in the blank or short answer. Click OK.
 
 
 
Step six: Type in your questions
 

Type in your question. You can add more answer choices by clicking “Add” button. Select the correct answer by selecting the box in front of the correct answer. You can edit the answer by clicking “Edit” button. Then, click “OK”.
 
 
 
Step seven: Add questions
 

If you want to add a question to this quiz, click on “Add a Question to Select Quiz or Survey".
 
 
Step eight: Finish
 

After typing all the questions for the quiz, click on "Finished".

 
 
 
Tip:
 

You cannot see the look of the quiz/survey in the Camtasia project. The active quiz/survey will appear in the produced Flash movie file.
 
 
Step nine:
 

After producing/publishing the project, run the Flash movie file.
 
 
How to submit an answer:
 

After selecting the answer, learners need to click on “Submit” button to submit the answer.

 
 

Then click “Done.”
