| Step one: Connect the VCR to the digital Camera |
| |
Connect "video out" on the VCR to "video in" on the digital camera. Connect "audio out" to "audio in" on the digital camera. The type and number of cords necessary will depend on the camera. Below is a photograph of the digital camera and VCR connections.

| Step two:Record Video with Digital Camera |
| |
| Set the digital camera to the "VCR" mode. Locate the segment of analog video that you wish to record. Press "PLAY" on the VCR and simultaneously press "RECORD." Once the segment is complete press "STOP" on the digital camera and VCR. Now the digital video can be transferred to the computer using Ulead, Premier, Real Producer, or other digital video program. |
