Creating a Tab Interaction Using Articulate Engage

Objective:

This job aid will teach you how to create a Tab Interaction using Articulate Engage. There are 10 types of interactions that can be created (Process, Labeled Graphic, Tabs, Circle Diagram, Timeline, Media Tour, FAQ, Pyramid, Guided Image, and Glossary).A tab interaction is a type of menu that can be used for FAQ's, facts supporting your presentation, etc.

 
 
Step one: Open Articulate Engage
 
Click on Start > Select All Programs > Articulate > Articulate Engage.
 
 
 
Step two:Create a Tab Interaction
 

Click on Create Interaction, then choose Tabs and click OK.

 
 

 
 
Step three: Edit your Interaction Introduction and Properties
 
Type in your introduction title and text.
 

 
Click Add media to add media (video or images) to the Interaction if desired. Locate the media files and Click Open. Set up the position and size of the target media.
 
 
 
Step four: Enter your narration
 

Click on > Narration Script to enter your script. Click> Close when finished entering your narration.

 
 

Click > Record to record audio for the interaction. Click > Open Folder to open an audio file (Click > Narration Script to read your recording script).

 
 
 

Step five: Add content to your tabs

 

Click on Tab 1 to edit the tab details or Click > Add tab to add a new tab if there are no tabs already added. Edit the Tab title as desired. Add the tab text in the text area provided.

 
 

Click > Record to record your audio for the tab if needed. You can also import an audio file already recorded by clicking on the open file folder.

 
 

Step six: Preview

 

Click > Preview to preview your finished tab.

 

 
 

Step seven: Publish your interaction

 

Click > Publish to publish the interaction.

 
 

Select the publishing location. Click > Publish.

 
 

After the interaction has been published successfully, click to view the interaction or email or FTP or Zip.
