Screen recording using Camtasia

Objective:
The job aid will teach you how to perform screen recording by explaining how to use software and websites using Camtasia.
 
 

Step one: Open Camtasia
 
Open the Camtasia program using the following path: Start > Programs > Camtasia > Camtasia Producer
 

Step two: Click on Recorder

Click on the Recorder Tool.
 
 

Step three: Select to capture region
 
In the Camtasia Recorder interface, select Capture > Input > Region
 
 

Step four: Choose what to record

 
Click on Effects > Audio and then select all the options (Record Audio, Cursor Sounds, Keyboard Sounds).
 
 

Step five: Capture
 
Click on the Capture button and select the Region that you want to capture.
 

Step six: Stop

 
After you finish capturing, click on the Stop button and save the movie clip as a (*.avi) file.
